Long Range Shooting Courses

Price range: $400.00 through $1,000.00

Whether you are unboxing your first precision rifle or looking to master advanced wind-reading and extreme-distance ballistics, 75th Bunker provides the elite instruction, data-driven methodology, and trigger time you need to build absolute confidence behind the glass. Our progressive curriculum meets you at your current skill level and systematically pushes your effective range further than you ever thought possible. Choose your course level below:

Beginner Long Range Shooting

First-time precision rifle owners, hunters looking to ethically extend their range, and shooters transitioning from standard benches to precision platforms.

This foundational course strips away the intimidation of long-range shooting. We focus heavily on the mechanics of marksmanship and understanding your equipment so you can build a flawless, repeatable baseline.

Core Focus Areas:

  • Rifle setup, optic leveling, and proper eye relief.
  • The mechanics of a perfect prone position and recoil management.
  • Demystifying MOA and MRAD optic adjustments.
  • Building a solid 100-yard zero and gathering initial ballistic data.

Leave the course with a perfectly zeroed rifle, a firm grasp of your optic’s turrets, and the ability to confidently hit targets out to 500 yards.

Intermediate Long Range Shooting

Graduates of our Beginner course or shooters who already know their zero and want to push past the 500-yard barrier into dynamic environments.

At the intermediate level, we transition from perfect range conditions to real-world variables. You will learn how to read the environment, utilize ballistic calculators, and make rapid corrections on the fly.

Core Focus Areas:

  • Introduction to environmental factors (temperature, altitude, and barometric pressure).
  • Wind reading fundamentals: Analyzing mirage, vegetation, and terrain indicators.
  • Using ballistic apps (Kestrel, Applied Ballistics) to build a custom drop card.
  • Rapid target acquisition and executing “holdovers” vs. dialing your turrets.

Learn to accurately judge the wind and consistently impact steel targets from 500 to 1,000 yards under time constraints.

Advanced Long Range Shooting

Experienced long-range marksmen, competitive PRS/ELR shooters, and advanced tactical operators looking to master the calculus of extreme distances.

This is our masterclass. At this level, we introduce advanced aerodynamic variables and non-standard shooting positions. You will be expected to operate under cognitive stress and tackle targets at the absolute limit of your cartridge’s capability.

Core Focus Areas:

  • Mastering advanced ballistic anomalies (Coriolis effect, spin drift, and aerodynamic jump).
  • High-angle and multi-axis shooting (up-hill and down-hill calculations).
  • Alternate and improvised shooting positions using tripods, barricades, and natural obstacles.
  • Advanced wind-calling strategies for complex, multi-velocity wind vectors.

Complete proficiency in Extreme Long Range (ELR) scenarios, multi-target engagements past 1,000 yards, and stable shooting from any positional platform.

Gear Prerequisites & Notes

  • Ammunition: Match-grade ammunition is highly recommended for all courses to maximize your rifle’s potential.
  • Hardware: Rifles should be capable of firing a minimum of 1 MOA groups. A quality variable-power optic with target turrets is required.
  • Loaner gear and rifle packages are available upon request—contact us prior to your class date.
